Levi

Levi is a 4 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and he is a diamond. He has come into rescue due to his owners moving into rented housing and him not being allowed to move in as well. He is good with other dogs and good off the lead. He needs plenty of exercise and wil make a fab family pet. Is currently in a foster home with chilren too.
Please remember when applying to adopt one of our animals that a lot of effort and expense has gone into the dog that you are taking into your home. The cost of the flea treatment and the wormers are very high and should the dog need to be neutered it is a very high drain on our limited resources. It is for this reason that we suggest a donation of £75.00 for each dog. Please read 'How to adopt a dog ' page.
Cracker Jack
Cracker Jack is an adorable little Jack Russell short legs and smooth coat, hes quite petitie to very freindly and busy boy would make someone an ideal pet.

Lacey
Lacey is a young lurcher that was saved from the pound in her final hour, she seems a very sweet girl and needs someone to love her. She appears interested in the ducks and chickens she met so I am guessing she needs a cat and small furry free home. Please give this little girl a chance to shine. (Sorry about her ear in pic it is just folded over)

Lexi
Lexi is a such a lovely dog but very nervous at present, she was given up by her family as they had a new baby and no longer had time for her, she has not been sociallised well which means she is finding all the new experiences a little scarey, Lexi is 2 years old and slightly underweight, we are hoping she will go into foster care ASAP as kennels will not build her confidence.

Chester
What a dog!! Chester is an amazing american bull dog, hes huge loveable boy. He was saved from the pound once his 7 days were up. He is not a dog for the faint hearted, he is very strong and needs some lead training we think hes about 3 years old. He is a little underweight at the moment and has an open wound on his ear thats being treated. I expect Chester will provoke alot of interest but who ever does adopt him needs to be very commited and a previous experience of bull breeds will be an advantage.

Snuggles

Charlie

Charlie is a young beagle cross, approx 10-12mths old. He can be a little head strong so needs a firm but kind owner, ideally needs a home with children over 12. He is housetrained and the perfect gentleman in kennels. Can you make Charlie happy forever?

Duke
Duke is a BIG softie staffie, hes a real foolish lad that is going to need a strong owner that is willing to do some more training with him, he does have some basic commands but needs further education. He was saved from the pound after 7 days as his owners chose not to claim him and possibly face being put to sleep. He will make a lovely pet for someone who has the time to put in but believe me Duke will repay you 10 fold.
Update - Duke is a dog second to none, hes got a fantastic temperment and if you like staffies hes the dog for you he does need a little more trianing not to pull on lead etc, but he just want to play and be loved. More pics of Duke on Green Acres Blog page.

Leo
Leo is a 2 year old Border Collie male, hes very lively but a little portly at the moment probably due to lack of exercise, he too has been 7 days in the council pound and has now come to search for his happy ending. He will need an active home both physically and mentally to keep him entertained if you think youve got what it takes to own this intellegent yet rewarding breed then please get in touch. Leo needs a home with NO cats.
Leo is a loveable collie with typical collie energy levels, he will need an active home that is willing to do some further training with him, he does have basics though of sit stay lie down and paw.
Update - Leo is really not liking kennels he becomes very stressed so we are trying to get him out as much as possible, once out of the kennel he becomes a different dog. He loves to play and will do anything for a toy. He is excellent at fetch and always returns the ball. He mixes well with the other dogs and just needs someone with some time to give him a chance. He has lost a few pounds since being with us but still needs to shed a few more.
