APOLLO
Apollo is a truly stunning strawberry roan, these pics do not do him justice at all.
Poor Apollo was just left alone for many years in a field with just a small muddy puddle to drink from, he is 15 years old and never been riden. Since coming to the rescue he is loving the company of all the other horses. he is easy to handle and has good manners.
Apollo would make a lovely companion pony, please get in touch if you can offer this lovely fella his forever home.
Hettie Toffee
These 2 characters have joined us at Green acres, their owners circumstances changed so they couldn't give them the time they needed, they are a fine pair!

6th september
Today two goats arrived at Green Acres, they are mother and son and are in a terrible state, both emaciated, lice ridden with terrible over grown feet
we have named them Sadie and Marvin.

We have treated them for lice, worms and had their feet seen to, they will need to be weaned onto the proper amount of food slowly. Marvin is in a worse state that his mum and we are not sure that he is going to make it through the night.
They are in a nice warm stable tonight.
7th September
Sadie looks much more lively today and is eating and drinking well.
Poor little Marvin has eaten and drank a little with some help, but is not showing much interest in his environment. Were all keeping our fingers crossed for him.
8th September
Marvin is still very weak but has managed to eat some hard food today, so hopefuly things are starting to look up. Fingers crossed.
11th Sep
There has been very little improvement in Marvin over the past few days, so he's had a little trip to the vets today, he has a high temperature, probably some worm damage alone with malnutrition. Poor little thing has had a cocktail of drugs and will need antibiotics for the next 4 days. Hopefully he will start to look better soon, keep your fingers crossed.
13th September
At last little Marvin has started to improve, he looks a lot brighter, he has managed to walk out by the side of his mum to eat some grass today and he has started to take notice of his environment.
More photos to follow tomorrow
17th Sep
Both Sadie and Marvin are doing really well. Marvin has improvd so much, he is now runing around, bleating and is slowly putting on weight.
20th Sep
Marvin is continuing to improve, he still needs to put on lots of weight however he was even seen running around today.

Marvin and Sadie will live the rest of their lives at Green Acres Animal Rescue.
